Medical Registration
Medical practitioners working solely in Albury need to be registered with the NSW Medical Board. Those working solely in Wodonga need to be registered with the Medical Board of Victoria. Specialists who are likely to work on both sides of the border will need to be registered in both states.

Current medical workforce
Albury Wodonga's medical fraternity consists of more than 200 doctors consisting of about 90 General Practitioners including GP registrars and 120 or so specialists.

Public: Albury Base Hospital, Wodonga Regional Health Service.

Private: Murray Valley Private Hospital and Albury Wodonga Private Hospital.
